Haute Boudoir Maternity : Lovely Lisa

Lisa was almost 8 months pregnant during her maternity boudoir session, and I've gotta say, she was the tiniest pregnant woman I'd ever seen! She was positively glowing and such a beautiful woman inside and out, and only 2 short months later, she gave birth to a beautiful little girl.

I know a lot of women are on the fence about doing a maternity shoot, let alone a maternity boudoir, but I think it's such an amazing time in a woman's life, and it's a testament to just how incredible & beautiful the human body is.

Maternity : C & C

It's Labor Day, so I thought I would share some maternity shots that are long overdue, since this gorgeous lady went into labor a few months ago! I photographed C's boudoir session as wedding gift to her husband, and a little more than a year later, she emailed me asking if I would do her maternity photos. I love working with C and jump at any chance to hang out with her. She's such an incredible friend, she's so sweet, funny, easy going and beautiful inside and out. This time around, I was fortunate enough to meet the other C, her husband, who is as equally awesome as his wife. I can't wait to share some of the family photos in the next few months, so be sure to check back!

Maternity : Carrie & Bob

I met Carrie a few years ago through Carrie's Sister Amanda and my friend Amy, who thought it was about time Carrie and I should meet. We were sort of set up, on a blind friend date so to speak. Well, friend sparks were flying, and we've been friends ever since. We don't get to hang out as much as we'd like, but when we do, it's all laughter and awesomeness. I was so ecstatic to find out that Carrie and Bob (Philly folks might recognize him from CBS3) were having a baby and they wanted me to photograph a maternity session. So we braved the wet weather, with film & digital in hand and meandered through the green to capture the sweetness of pregnancy.
