I was really excited for Michelle and Jason's Halloween Wedding this year, and despite some rain and daylight savings, we managed to have a haunting good time at the beautiful Old Mill in Media PA!
The rain caused a last minute switch from outdoors to indoors, and the Old Mill did an amazing job transforming the interior into a reception and ceremony space. Sue Davis of Fresh Designs and her team along with Jeanne of Connor Catering are truly inspirational

The rain caused some delays, but aren't the flowers so stunning and so different? Michelle carried a custom copper swirl bouquet, which showed up just in time for the ceremony thanks to Halloween parades and rain! The Bridesmaids carried these beautiful bejeweled basket clusters with rose and calla lily florals in deep plum and crimson, perfect for Halloween!

Michelle's daughter was too cute-she watched Jason the entire time her Mother walked down the aisle to see his expression. I think both expressions are priceless.

And let me tell ya, this group knows how to party.....

Heather and I traveled to Amish Country for a Sunday afternoon wedding at the Cameron Estate Inn. I hadn't been to the inn since my own wedding, and it was nice to return for the relaxing October wedding of Jennifer and Josh!

Danielle and Andrew are high-school sweethearts, so it seemed only fitting that we returned to their alma mater for an educational e-session!

For most engaged women, one of the more daunting tasks with planning a wedding is deciding what outfits to wear for the engagement session! You want it to feel like you, but you also don't want to be boring or dated. You want chic, stylish, classic, elegant but more importantly, you want it to feel like you. Here are some ideas ranging from casual to cocktail. Your engagement session can be a great way to have fun-if your wedding is going to be relaxed and casual, maybe you want some dressy, sophisticated pictures. If you're planning a Spring Wedding, maybe Autumn Leaves or winter snow would make for a great backdrop, for a little variety. It's also a great time to explore hair and makeup options, as well as get to know your wedding photographer and relax, and get some really amazing photos of you and your honey before the big day!

Heather & Andrew were married at Deerfield Country Club in Newark, Delaware, on what was supposed to be a torrential downpour. Luckily, I bring the sunshine wherever I go, and we had a beautiful sunny day and a warm summery breeze!
Heather in the makeup chair getting gorgeous, not that she needs much help!

Heather's gorgeous Mother and Sister. Beauty must run in the family!
The flower girls, Heather's three adorable nieces, help her with her shoes....

There was a horse farm behind Heather's parents house, the only problem was getting our equine friends to cooperate with our photos!

Now off to the reception!
Heather's sister's give her a hilarious toast, reminding the crowd of their childhood antics.
The Parent dances...too sweet!
