Charlotte Casadejus

A friend of mine is having a vintage inspired wedding, and after discussing invitations, she introduced me to some of her current bridal obsessions, one of which is Charlotte Casadejus, a brilliant designer/seamstress and franco-phile with a penchant for vintage French linens. Charlotte makes the most incredibly beautiful dresses, and I'm sure she'll be on everyone's lips-I spied her over at the uber talented (and incredibly sweet) Mimi's blog, and thought that this was just too good to keep to myself. I love the idea of a completely vintage wedding-and one of these gorgeous creations would be a fitting start!

Ranch Style

Who says a rustic affair is only suitable in the fall? I love warm wood, rich chocolates and saturated warm tones for a summertime rustic ranch wedding!

Summer Weddings VIII : Out to Sea

So many ways to tie in a water theme wedding, with a little, or a lot. There's nautical, beachy, Island, or you can go mod and monotone with all white seashells and coral!











Beautiful Earth tone seashells make for an earthy but modern seaside affair (and cost effective-find the shells yourself or visit local craft stores or online stores and they make stunning centerpieces and decor!)

Thinking about summer makes me think of pool parties, bbq's, fireflies and fun. Gingham is a plaid that wraps that whole feeling of summer into one interesting check! Perhaps a picnic wedding is in order!
