Ghostly Gourds

Love the use of White Pumpkins for an elegant feel that can go from downright spooky to hauntingly beautiful to funny to extremely chic for Thanksgiving!

Pretty Pumpkins

Thinking of a Halloween or Harvest Party for Adults? You don't need to go over the top with Scare and Spook, just some well placed pumpkins and vintage accessories are enough to turn any event into a hauntingly beautiful soiree. Host a Scary Movie night or watch vintage Horror Flicks with friends. Host a Samhain Party and learn about the ancient Celtic roots of Halloween and the Harvest, A vintage Halloween party complete with vintage inspired decor and costumes, bobbing for apples and all that great mid-century plastic and paper halloween pretties...or have a Scary Literary Party (think Dracula, Frankenstein and Poe), or gather around a bonfire and tell ghost stories. After all, Halloween doesn't have to be all about the kids!

Sara & Andrew 10.3.09, part 1

Fall is Wedding Season here at Jubilee Photography, and I feel so lucky and honored to spend my weekends with such inspiring and overall great people. Here is the first half of Sara and Andrew's beautiful October wedding in Kennett Square, PA! Nic, Heather and myself had a great time, and Nic was such a trooper considering he has a broken thumb! One thing I love about photographing weddings is the amazing people I get the meet and befriend. Sara and Andrews family were so kind, funny and welcoming, I have to give a major shout out to their awesomeness!

I love the look on her Father's face..

Andrew and his brother arriving, on the phone, although I don't think they were talking to each other. For October 3, we had a beautiful Summery day, so I'm sure they were in no rush to put wools suits on!
The Bouquet and Boutonnieres included Anemone's (I always think of the underwater version...) and I love the hydrangea and chrysanthemums,
Sara and her sister were too funny and you could tell how much they really loved and admired one another. All the girls wore beautiful J.Crew dresses in Navy with different-comfortable-shoes of their choice, and while Sara had beautiful J.Crew Shoes, she opted for Red Rubber Clogs since torrential rains had stopped only that morning! Better be safe than soggy!

More to Come Monday! I am off to Richmond for a wedding with the amazing Katie Stoops of Open Air Photography! Check out her blog and enjoy her wicked talent!
