Bringing Back Bean

Many people think of LL Bean as a place to get monogrammed backbacks, but I'm really digging the new LL Bean Signature, so much so that I had to have their suede oversized tote as my Fall-Winter bag! You'll want to add LL Bean to your list of online shops with really great finds at affordable pricing and great quality! I ordered trouser jeans that are identical to my JCrew ones for only $20, and a great, cozy hoody for just $17!
Mark my words, the LL Bean Classic Duck boot will be THE cool, quirky shoe for the Fall-Winter season, think what wellies have been for the last few years, so get your pair quick!

Haute Boudoir : Shannon

Shannon is a recent bride of mine, and she decided the perfect wedding day gift for Chris would be an Haute Boudoir book! I'm not going to show too much, but needless to say, Chris was floored when he opened his gift the morning of his wedding, and he was so excited, he asked Shannon if he could show the bridal party how awesome his gift was! Shannon is gorgeous and so sweet and fun, I loved getting to hang out with her during boudoir, engagement and at her wedding, and Chris is such a fun, funny guy. They are a wonderful couple, which is one of the many reason's I'm so lucky to love my job-I get to meet and befriend amazing people like Shannon and Chris!

Jubilee Weddings : Shannon & Chris 9.5.2010

You might remember Shannon & Chris from their NYC engagement session this past Spring. Well, there wedding was this past Labor Day weekend in beautiful Annapolis Maryland. Shannon & Chris live in Florida, had their first real date in New York City, and decided to have a destination weekend wedding on Maryalnd's historic shores. Shannon fell in love with the Chesapeake Bay many years ago and decided that her wedding would be a laid back, Nautical chic affair that she and Chris could share with friends and family.
The Bridesmaids dresses are from J.Crew while the groomsmen all wore Searsucker suits with different patterned ties. I love all the Navy, White and Grassy Green details that make this Nautical-Preppy Chic wedding so beautiful!
The Bridesmaids carried white and green hydrangea bouquets, the flower girls had green and white striped searsucker dresses to coordinate with the groomsmen attire, and the ring bearers & junior groomsmen, Shannon's brothers, wore Ralph Lauren Shorts & Oxford Shirts with their docksider shoes. The Ceremony was at the stunning William Paca House in Downtown Annapolis.
Shannon's father, a pilot, surprised everyone on board the plane to Maryland from Florida by being the pilot. He told the entire flight that he wanted the honor of flying his daughter on her last flight as a single woman. How sweet is that?
Shannon surprised Chris with a Water Taxi sendoff into the cool, Chespeake night. I cannot express the amazing time we had, and how thankful Nic and I are to have shared such a monumental event with Shannon, Chris and their friends and family. Everyone was so warm, wonderful and generous, and we feel lucky to consider you all friends.
