With the extreme heat, I can think of nothing more refreshing than a Lemonade/Ice Tea centerpiece for guests to enjoy. Relaxed, outdoors, complete with parasols, handheld fans, and a pretty brown, mint green and lemon yellow palette!

The beautiful N and I spent a lovely afternoon at the Gramercy Park Hotel in NYC this past Summer taking Haute Boudoir photographs as a surprise to her unsuspecting fiance.

Jubilee Engagements : Melissa & Andy

Melissa and Andy are incredible. They braved 100+ degree temps, sticky humidity and they hiked all over Valley Forge with me for their engagement session. But for the sweet and funny couple who met at Soccer League, breaking a sweat isn't that much of a big deal. Photographing them was no sweat for me either, they are gorgeous, laid back and such a pleasure to spend a Friday afternoon with in the sweltering July heat!

Jubilee Weddings : Lauren & Andreas 6.12.2010

Lauren and Andreas have an orange tabby cat named George Michael. That was enough for me to know that we were meant to be together for their wedding. Lauren, Andreas, and of course, George Michael, felt the same way, so on a hot June Day, Nic and I ventured to the Nations Capitol for their relaxed, vintage glamour inspired wedding at the Tabard Inn. George Michael stayed behind, but did opt to spend a relaxing beach mini-moon with the gorgeous couple!

Laurens gorgeous dress was actually an evening gown she found at Nordstrom on sale! The bridesmaids were Lauren's sisters, and they wore matching Anthropologie dresses with their flawless Sidra Forman flowers that featured peonies, lavender and hydrangea.

Meet Lil Jon & Isabella

Sorry for a slow blog week-Nic and I adopted two more kittens over the 4th of July Holiday, 8 week old brother and sister Lil Jon and Isabella! They are so cute, so sweet, and still have that adorable little kitten fuzz and tiny little heads. Neko and Gracie are adjusting, albeit a little begrudgingly, so we're trying to make the transition easy with as much love and cuddles as possible. So until next week, when I'll return with more weddings, inspiration and outfits, enjoy my two little 1 pound furbabies!
