It's been a really busy few weeks, so many apologies for the sparse postings. I promise to be back to normal within a week! While editing my nephews baptism from a few weeks ago, I found this image that made me laugh out loud. I remember seeing Ethan on the couch and laughing so hard while taking the picture that it turned out blurry.

Another New Site

I've been reworking almost all of my websites lately, making them easier to navigate, faster to load and simpler for me to update! Jubilee Photography is no exception. No new branding like Milkmaid Press, but there are more images and it flows better, I think! I'm still toying with adding the option of a pop up music player-giving viewers the choice to listen to music if they want. Most photography sites are flash with music that auto loads, which I'm not such a big fan of since so many people peruse the web at work, or have their own background noise. I do like the idea of a soft rotation of music playing but I'm not sure if viewers do or don't want it, so any suggestions are welcome!

Rainy Day

We're getting some much needed rain here, and while some loathe the rain (my husband), I find it peaceful and soothing. To me, this is perfect outdoor running weather. Personally, I think that umbrella portraits could be the new balloon portrait, and the rain can make for some fun, spontaneous and even breathtaking images, whether you pose them, or find them spur of the moment....

I'm happy to announce that Nic just got his shipment of Superheadz Cameras that are now available at his store! We've both been busy little bees, working back to back (quite literally in our office!) to get things done, and I've been a branding FOOL with the new Milkmaid Press, Four Corner Store Branding and Packaging, in addition to a few custom wedding projects, new client branding and so much more.

A Whole New Milkmaid Press

Things are looking different with Milkmaid Press! I decided that I wanted to streamline the site and make everything easier, on myself and on everyone else! I changed the logo a bit, despite my love for the original illustration I did, I wanted something a little closer to my heart. And what is closer to my heart than my darling kitten? So Gracie is now representin' me in all my Milkmaid Press branding-as a kitten drinking milk-which is fitting for Milkmaid Press, and the fact that Gracie has an insatiable appetite. Look for a lot of new things this year, including the launch of a Cotton line of stationery at the same price point as Pearl! Some of the most popular letterpress designs migrated over to Cotton, including Carnival, Frontier Garden and Caribbean Palm as well as some brand new designs!
