I really dig biker jackets, spikes and hard edges for the fashionable lady with a little dash of badass. Ensembles styled by me, via polyvore. And if any readers would like to buy me any of the shoes, size 8, please, go right ahead!

Cat Fashion Fancy
Keeping with the cat theme, this calendar/ad campaign from United Bamboo reminds me of what I used to do as a kid. I'd dress up my cat, Judy, in Cabbage Patch kids clothes and take pictures and create my very own Cat Calendar. Needless to say, these clothes are way nicer than my CP duds...My fav? Definitely Miss Jan/Feb...Reach for the stars you adorable little dandy!

Bird on the Brain
Because it's Spring, and there are birds chirping outside. Because birds are chirping, Gracie and Neko are obsessed with looking at them out the window and crying. Because I love birds in decor, but feel guilty because it taunts the two kitties. Because sometimes, fashion is for the birds

Jubilee Weddings : Carla & Rob 4.10.2010
Spring Wedding Season officially kicked off for me last weekend, April 10th with the marriage of college sweethearts, Carla and Rob, at Villanova. They've spent the greater part of their engagement apart; Carla lives in PA, Rob is in training in VA, but soon they will call FLA home, where Rob is a pilot in the Military.

Jubilee Portraits : Newlyweds Katie & Steve
Katie and I have been friends for years, we like to hang out, eat Mexican, snuggle kitties and laugh as often as possible, so when she and Steve had a day off right before the big Cherry Blossom festival in DC, where they call home, I had to visit. Since we hadn't had a chance to do engagement photos & we finally had a day where all 3 of us could hang out, it was great to hang out and capture some casual photos of the newlyweds that really capture the fun, silly, offbeat city dwellers that they are!
While they call DC home, we wanted to avoid anything overly DC oriented. Instead, we allowed the city's icons to casually drop in to our photos if we happened to be strolling in that area...
Despite some rainy weather, we ventured toward the sculpture garden, where they had their very first date, and then we laughed our way to the Cherry Blossoms for a few quick shots before dusk set in and the rain started again.
Katie has a really wonderful new fashion blog, Today I Want, so be sure to check it out! She's one of my real life fashion inspirations, and she's got un amazing knowledge of vintage fashion, and many of her outfits are affordable. Just another reason why I heart Katie!
