Jubilee Inspirations : Desert Blue
A western wedding doesn't have to be some over the top theatrical hoedown. Think classic iconic cowboy, comfortable worn in denim and chambray, warm desert tones, classic blue green succulents and earthy serapes and you can have a chic desert fete that is both elegant and low key.

Shop Spotlight : Calypso St. Barths
When I'm feeling stressed or need a mental/visual getaway, I often browse Calypso's website. The clothing is a mix of elegant preppy goes exotic resortwear, and I must confess, I'm a tad bit smitten..and the lace tank dress is on sale for $99, the perfect elopement/casual wedding/bridesmaid/rehearsal dress, if you ask me!

Jubilee Engagements : Alyssa & Seth
Windy doesn't even begin to describe the weather during Alyssa and Seth's Baltimore Engagement shoot. At one point, a gust picked poor Alyssa up in the air and tossed her back a few steps. But these two college sweethearts wouldn't let a little wind or cold get in the way of creating awesome photos.
We traversed through mud, cold, bricks and other odds and ends while touring this cool old abandoned mill, and the genuine affection, kindness and adoration feel almost cinematic to the love story of Alyssa and Seth.

Jubilee Engagements : Brian & Maureen
I've known Brian for what seems like forever. He is one of my brother's best friends, and he's just a really great guy. I was stoked when he emailed me and told me he was getting engaged, and wanted to surprise his lovely fiance, Maureen, with an impromptu photo session in Philadelphia's Love Park to commemorate the celebration. On a blustery winter day, we bundled up and snapped some photos, and I think you can really feel the momentum of emotion in their faces from their brand spanking new engagement.
Love Park is a popular center city tourist attraction, and these European students were really getting into their little photo shoot, so much so, that they asked Brian & Maureen to snap their photos while they posed in front of the Love Statue...

What to Wear : It's in the Bag
For all your lady shutterbugs out there, the struggle to find a decent, attractive camera bag can be quite a conundrum. I have a giant rolling case I take to big deal shoots, but sometimes I only need one digital body, my film camera, and a lens or two, not the entire loot. Plus, I don't want to carry a purse AND a bag, and I definitely don't want to be rolling through the streets covered in bags. I also hate that feeling of not being able to full concentrate on shooting when I feel I need to watching my purse and camera bag.

How to Wear : Everything's Peachy
I love peaches. The fruit, my little peach cat, Neko, the color. Peach rules. Peach isn't always the easiest color to wear or to pair, but I think these outfits will have you adding a little peach (and salmon and coral) to your wardrobe!
